Sherry Rennie

Sherry has over 25 years of experience working with dogs both professionally and as a volunteer. A life long dog lover, she landed her first job, at age 15, in a boarding kennel. At this time she also took an interest in dog training as she worked with a trainer and participated in training her family’s first dog, a German Shepherd. She then went on to work for a veterinarian with whom she co-owned and operated a boarding kennel and grooming shop for 12 years. After having children she decided she needed to focus on her family and became a full time mother. She spent 8 years as the PTA chairperson for the reading incentive program at her children’s elementary school, as well as being ‘room mom’, while also volunteering for a large breed rescue organization doing home checks and behavior evaluations. Sherry then volunteered at the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center for 2 years before being hired as an Animal Caretaker and adoption counselor in October 2011.

Shirley Morgan

After working for 30 years for the County of Riverside Department of Public Social Services, Shirley retired and focused on volunteer work.  She is a member of the Moreno Valley Soroptimist Club and is a board member for the Moreno Valley Community Assistance Program.

Shirley has been involved in fundraising for rescue groups for over 7 years such as PAW Love, HOPE (Helping Out Pets Everyday), Mary S. Roberts Animal Shelter and Doggie Protective Services.  She and her husband, JR, are also long time members of Best Friends Animal Society.
